Something that pretty much never gets mentioned in the mainstream discourse on the subject is how is it even possible for any country or so-called terrorist organization to recognize the state of Israel, when the state of Israel itself refuses to recognize its own national borders? (Even if you put aside the fact that it's an apartheid state built on the dislocation of 700,000 Palestinian refugees.)
