The housing market, also sometimes referred to amorphously as "the American Dream," is a scam. The variety of scam that it is is known as a Ponzi Scheme. Even with millions of people desperately clinging to the notion that it can never be too big to fail, it is, and it will, it's just a question of when, and how we might ever get out from under the knee of capitalism upon our collective necks.
